The treasures of Corsica

1. THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SITES IN CORSICA

No matter where look, the island's magical beauty will simply take your breath away.  From sea to mountain, the images of Corsica are like a fabulous kaleidoscope.

But some sites stand above the rest and truly deserve their place on the list of the island's ten marvels:

1 the Sanguinaires Islands
2 the Calanques (rocky inlets) of Piana
3 the Scandola nature reserve (a UNESCO world heritage site)
4 the Restonica gorges (chestnut forest, Venaco region, Corte, etc.)
5 typical villages and towns: Corte, Sant’Antonino, Erbalunga, Sartène, Girolata, etc.
6 the southern beaches: Palombaggia, Rondinara, Piantarella, etc.
7 the stone lion of Roccapina and Bonifacio
8 the Agriates Desert and the Cape Corsica region
9 the Alta Rocca region and Bavella peaks (Quenza, Levie, Zonza)
10 mountain lakes: Creno, Nino, etc.
Yet there are many others sites, and a multitude of cultural treasures, to be discovered as well: prehistoric and Roman sites, Genoese towers, Romanesque and Gothic churches, picturesque villages, museums and  craftsmen's shops (cutlery, pottery, marquetry, essential oils).  And don't forget Corsica's culinary delights: charcuterie, cheeses, wines, olive oil, chestnuts, honey, etc. Our reception staff will be delighted to advise you on what to see and do. We also offer a wide range of trips leaving right from the hotel.
