Overlooking the Gulf of Ajaccio, L’Arbousier’s gourmet table offers one of the most enchanting settings in Porticcio: a terrace facing the Sanguinaires Islands, where every evening the sunset becomes a blazing spectacle.
Lunch is bathed in light, in the shade of the parasols. Candlelit dinner glows beneath a sky that catches fire before giving way to the stars. In winter, the dining room with its century-old beams takes over: the same soul, a hushed warmth.
The chef celebrates a Mediterranean cuisine of character, inspired by the island’s terroirs: morning markets, night fishermen, the generosity of the Corsican land. Dentex, spiny lobster, red mullet, milk-fed lamb, cured meats from the maquis - here, the produce leads the way.
The cuisine follows - sincere, fragrant and refined, between land and sea with the rhythm of the seasons.
